Costcutter League club St Dogmaels have been given a big boost by the arrival of Newcastle Emlyn prolific marksman Peter Almond.

The talented front-runner who was with Saints some years ago and has also had a spell with Cardigan Town, celebrated his 32nd birthday on Saturday when making his debut at Llandysul in round one of Cwpan Coffa Dai Dynamo Davies but could not inspire the Greens to a win as they went down 4-0.

St Dogmaels manager Steve Jerry Williams said: "Peter is a quality act in this standard and I'm sure he'll be a big player for us."
