Due to the bad weather, the Tivyside Riding Club Show had to relocate its show from Penparc to Bailey Farm, Llandygwydd.

The sun shone and the day started with the showing classes judged by Jean Barry and stewarded by Jennie Linfoot.

Jane Griffiths and the evergreen TB Wheedle took the Pure Bred class and the ROR rosette. Hannah Warren and her lovely Section C Mary Poppins headed the M&M. Jean Jenkins and he lovely part bred Arab Freddie topped the Part Bre class, with Hannah and Mary Poppins once again heading the RC horse or pony.

Intro and Prelim 7 Dressage judged by Ginni Gristwood with writer Muriel Gill saw some amazing tests to judge with Jo Collins taking the honours in the Intro with Tom Jones and Helen Thompson and Donny clinching the Prelim.

In the Intro CT 50 cm Eleri Davies-Morgans took the honours with her lovely Sec D Lucy, with Wendy Roberts and the coloured mare Betty winning the Prelim 7 CT 60cm class.

The Prelim 14 and Novice 27 judged by Judith Allen with writer Sarah Lewis were equally impressive with Helen Thompson and Donny winning with the highest percentage of the day 77.92%.

Prelim 14 CT 65 was won by Hannah Warren and Mary Poppins, and Lianne Pittam and her mare Affabalyta took the Novice 75cm Combined training.

The 50cm jumping saw Xanine Phillips and Badger take the honours, the 60cm was won by Lucy Lewis and Daffodil, 65cm and 75cm were claimed by Wendy Roberts and Betty. Biggest cheer of the day went to Glesni Davies for her stunning round on Bally in the 65cm for 2nd place.
