After a blank day in Pembrokeshire league cricket due to the Harrison Allen Bowl final, significant interest is focusing on the Division Two

promotion race where Llangwm look assured of going up with Narberth and Llechryd also in the picture.

As it stands Llangwm are a massive 92 points clear of the third-placed

Teifisiders with four games remaining and it appears promotion is a cast-iron certainty.

Who accompanies the villagers to the top flight looks between second in

the table Narberth and Llechryd with the former 25 points ahead of their

Teifi Valley rivals and favourites for a return to Division One.

The promotion run-in starts on Saturday with both rivals expected to

bank a hatful of points as Narberth visit third from bottom Haverfordwest

Seconds and Llechryd go to second from bottom Stackpole.

The following weekend the northerners face a tough assignment when

hosting pacesetters Llangwm while Narberth have home advantage over basement boys Llanrhian.

In the penultimate fixtures Llechryd are away against Haverfordwest

Seconds while their rivals host lowly Whitland Seconds.

The protagonists will be hot favourites to win on the final day of the

campaign when Llechryd host Whitland Seconds at the RDM Oval and Narberth visit Stackpole.

Narberth appear to have the easier run-in and most neutrals see them

going up but there is still a lot of cricket to play and Llechryd are very

much in the mix.
