There was keen competition and bowling of a high standard right across the board during the annual Ceredigion finals at New Quay.
Cardigan postman and Welsh international Kevin James was on top of his game in the singles final as he powered to victory over Ian Pugh of Aberystwyth.
The 32-year-old former British Isles champion who competed in the world championships in Australia some years ago, led by nine shots after ten ends.
Although his opponent staged a late rally it was too little and too late as the Cardigan bowler emerged victorious by 21 shots to 10 to win the title for the third time.
James and his elder brother Colin took on Terry West and Steve Entwistle of Lampeter in the open pairs final, which was the closest match of the week as the Lampeter pair won by one shot.
The New Quay green proved a happy hunting ground for Lampeter bowlers who captured four titles.
