Although Llandysul are currently embroiled in a relegation scrap in Division One of the South Wales Cricket Association the club's junior section is booming giving rise to optimism for the future.
The club is part of the All Stars Cricket, the ECB's national initiative to encourage young children aged 5-8 years into sport and to play cricket.
There are currently in excess of 20 youngsters enjoying sessions with bat and ball and the club's Under 15s compete on a weekly basis in the junior section of the South Wales Association.
Chairman Aled Jones takes a hands-on approach and his enthusiasm for the game and development of youngsters rubs off on everyone connected with the club.
