At the halfway stage of the Ceredigion Bowling Association it appears unbeaten Division One leaders Lampeter are sauntering towards the title they won for the first time three terms ago.

The mid county side were pushed to the limit at Tregaron in their latest outing but managed to emerge winners by four shots and with main rivals and reigning champions Cardigan going down by seven shots against Queen's Road in Aberystwyth the Rookery bowlers soared ten points clear at the top of the pile.
