A totally disastrous batting performance against Llanelli at Stradey Park led to Llandysul lurching further towards the South Wales Cricket Association Division One relegation trapdoor.
After winning the toss visiting skipper Andrew Edwards elected to bat, a decision that rebounded as wickets fell like ninepins and the Tivysiders were dismissed for a paltry total of 46.
The homesters knocked off the runs for the loss of two wickets and picked up 25 points while the visitors failed to earn a single point.
It was Llandysul's fifth defeat from eight starts – they drew two games – and they are currently 31 points from safety before this Saturday's final game of the first half against second in the table Cowbridge at Tirdref.
Llandysul Seconds fared better than the seniors as they sprang a seven-wicket win over Ammanford 3rds in the Teifi Valley.
The visitors were dismissed for 102 and Llandysul reached the target for the loss of three wickets.
