After capturing the Costcutter League Division One championship for the first time since 1949 and doubling up by lifting the J Emrys Morgan Cup it was celebrations all round at Llandysul Football Club when the Swallows held their annual presentation evening at the Emlyn Arms Hotel in Newcastle Emlyn.

There was most encouraging news after the knees-up when the club's most successful ever manager Chris 'Coco' Davies confirmed he would be in the hot seat again next term.

"We had a great season and I was fortunate to have such dedicated and talented players. I'm looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead," said the boss.

The players' player-of-the-year was rock solid central defender Dean Jones while midfielder and skipper Ian Barrett was voted supporters' player-of-the-year.

Tricky winger Scott Thomas was manager's player-of-the-year, right back Josh Baker was voted most improved player and Adrian Hazzelby was leading marksman with 27 goals.
