Players in the Cardigan & District Pool League gave their skills a thorough airing during a hugely successful finals night at the rugby clubhouse which produced superb potting right across the board.

Vastly experienced trio Alan Lewis, Steve Hudson and Toby Jackson of Rugby Club emerged 5-2 winners against Gary Murtagh, Chris Truslove and Peter Almond of Lamb A to win the inaugural 3-a-side Jeff 'Fly' Jones Memorial Cup.

League champions Red Lion A skipper Dominic Williams and Gary Lawrence sprang a 2-0 win over strongly-fancied Gary Murtagh and Chris Truslove of Lamb A while the Open Pairs final was a tense affair with Reece Prowse of Lamb A who was partnered by Peter Almond producing a moment of magic to win with a swerve shot on the black in the final frame.

League player-of-the-year Gary Murtagh (Lamb A) achieved an eight-ball clearance in a 2-0 win over Victor Burns (Clwb Rygbi in the Captain's Cup while Chris Truslove of Lamb A became Singles Champion for the fourth time with a 2-1 win over Darren Barker of Rugby Club.
