A fortnight after losing out in the Costcutter League Cup final Crannog came up trumps in lifting Cwpan Coffa Dai Dynamo Davies with a 3-0 win over Felinfach at Ffostrasol.

The coastal villagers reached the final after overcoming Llanon, Llandysul, Llanilar and St Dogmaels while the Milkmen went through with wins over Cilgerran Rovers, Aberporth and Dolgellau Reserves.

In a rather scrappy affair it was nip and tuck early on with Crannog goalkeeper Rhydian Morgan and his opposite number Owain Williams handling confidently.

After the interval Williams was replaced between the sticks by Tomos James.

Crannog nudged ahead before the interval through midfielder Mark Davies after a Mike Glover effort rebounded from the crossbar and Davies beat Williams all ends up with a left-footed volley.

Felinfach started the second half at a frenetic pace and Kieran Boyce went close on three occasions but with Morgan in goal on top of his game and those in front of him defending resolutely Felinfach failed to find a way through.

Inevitably it was leading marksman George Colven who doubled the Llangrannog side's advantage with a clever chip from 25 yards and matters were wrapped up with ten minutes to go through Mathew Smith with a near post flick at a corner.
