Tom Renny, from the Teifi Boating Club in Cardigan, retained his Welsh Youth Laser title at the Welsh Youth and Junior Championships at Pwllheli.
In an impressive win, he came first in seven of the eight races and second in the race he was able to discard, scoring maximum points over all his rivals.
Tom, a pupil at Ysgol y Preseli has high ambitions and is currently training with the British Sailing Squad.
He will be at the Teifi Boating Club Open Day and Push the Boat Out event on Saturday, May 13, coaching and inspiring other youngsters in their sailing future.
George Sellwood also a member of the Teifi Boating Club, sailing a Topper in his second year of competition, finished mid fleet in his class giving an excellent performance.
