MEMBERS of Tekki RS shotokan karate club Newcastle Emlyn continued to live up to the club's fine reputation when they were selected to join the Wales karate squads.
They attended the KUGB Wales Karate Squad selection at Merthyr Tydfil when Cadi Springer and Cerys Davies were chosen to join the junior squad.
A very younf line-up also gotr into the senior squad: Harriet Roper (international competitor), Bethany Nelson, Lily Rees, Connor Rees, Owen Topham and Alex Dunbar (kata).
Tekki RS Newcastle Emlyn have produced numerous Welsh and national champions and the first European fighting champion in 30 years.
