CARDIGAN put themselves in exactly the right frame of mind for this weekend’s National Bowl clash with Denbigh at King George V Playing Field with a 95-0 away win over bottom of the pile St Davids in League 3 West A.
In two league encounters with Saints the Cardis have scored 161 points.
Skipper and No. 8 Llyr Griffiths, centre Emyr Harries and fullback Rhydian Jenkins got try hat-tricks, centre Markus Castle crossed for two scores and the other try scorers were scrum-half Llyr Jones and replacements Tomos Evans, Aled Phillips and Owain Rees with outside half Iestyn Crompton landing ten conversions.
