THERE was an abundance of exciting play during the annual Ceredigion Snooker League Doubles Championship at Drefach Felindre.
The winners were Michael Newcombe (Felindre) and Rhydian Jones(Llandysul). In the final Newcombe, better known for his prowess on the bowling green with Ceredigion champions Cardigan and son of former top class snooker star Don Newcombe, achieved two half century breaks.
