WITH two games to go Cardigan opened up a six point advantage over reigning champions Lampeter in the two-horse race for the Ceredigion Bowling Association Division One title.

In the latest batch of fixtures Paul Monders and team-mates banked 12 points from a 17-shot win at Tregaron while their rivals picked up eight

points at Aberystwyth.

The Cardis visit bottom of the pile New Quay tomorrow while the mid-county hopefuls host Tregaron before the big two go head-to-head on the Gwbert Road green in a final day shootout on Wednesday, August 24.
