League One West
Crymych 80 Tenby 12
There were shades of an exhibition as Crymych swamped relegated bottom of the pile Tenby United 80-12 at Parc Lloyd Thomas and moved into seventh in League One West.
The Preselimen, who completed the double over the Seasiders having won 20-15 at Heywood Lane back in September, sprang their ninth win of the campaign with two games remaining – away against Waunarlwydd this Saturday and home against Llangennech the following weekend.
For the north Pembrokeshire villagers, who led 47-7 after the opening 40 minutes, fullback Tom Turner led the 12-try romp with a hat-trick while winger Dylan Thomas bagged a brace of tries and scrum half Rhys Davies contributed 25 points with a try and ten conversions. The other scorers were centres Carwyn and Tomos Phillips, lock Rhys Richards, outside half Carwyn Jones, hooker Ifan Phillips and there was one penalty try.
For the outplayed visitors Scott James and Jordan Asperassa crossed for tries, one of the scores converted by the former.
