Jamie Bowen pulled off a brilliant 152 check-out on route to the final of the Cardigan & District Darts League KO Cup
THE final of the Cardigan & District Darts League KO Cup (formerly the Sunday KO Cup) between holders Tafarn Yr Oen and Morlan of Aberporth goes ahead at the Red Lion on Wednesday.
A brilliant 152 finish (treble 20, treble 20, double 16) – the highest checkout in the league this season - by vastly-experienced thrower Jamie Bowen in the 2-0 win over James Heneker during the 7-2 semi-final victory over Red Lion has proved the highlight of the tournament so far.
Also in the groove were Adam Williams, Steve Jerry Williams, Daniel Noble, Joe Rees, Jordan Lewis and doubles pairing Adam Williams and Joe Rees.
The other semi-final was a close-run affair with Dragons (Wine Bar) scraping through 5-4 against Morlan of Aberporth.
