REIGNING Cardigan & District Darts League champions Tafarn Yr Oen continued to soar clear of their rivals after an 8-1 win over visitors Rampin of Cilgerran.

There was no hint of an emphatic victory as Terry Morgan got the better of Daniel Noble to put the underdogs in front.

Further success followed when Nathan Jones won the first leg of his game against Jordan Lewis. But with the visiting thrower sitting on a double 20-year-old Lewis produced a sensational finish when going out on 149 (treble 20, treble 19, double 16) before taking the final leg after which the champs powered to seven wins on the trot.

Numerous attempts to obtain results from the league have been unsuccessful.
