IT was the turn of the old timers to grace the green baize in the Cardigan & District Pool League as a new record was created in the Super Veterans Cup at the Bell Hotel.
The record breaker was 73-year-old Jeff ‘Fly’ Jones who won the tournament for over 60s for the seventh time when beating Clwb Rygbi team-mate Victor Burns in the final.
The competition started in season 1995-96 and the first winner was John Evans of Commercial B.
