FINAL arrangements are being put in place for the seventh annual Jimmy James 7-a-side Memorial Football Tournament at School Field in St Dogmaels on Saturday, July 18.
Eight invited local Costcutter League Clubs, including all-conquering Cardigan Town, St Dogmaels, Maesglas and Newcastle Emlyn compete in the hugely popular tournament sanctioned by the Central Wales FA with the action getting underway at 1pm.
Last year’s winners were St Dogmaels Reserves who are likely to face stiff opposition in defence of the coveted trophy. The tournament promises to be a family day out with something for everyone including a barbecue and refreshments.
