WITH the local darts league now in the close season, players in Cardigan are preparing for the Worthington’s Champion of Champions competition which is being held at 256 venues throughout Wales.
Finals Night is at St David’s Hall in Cardiff on Sunday, August 30 with the winner pouching a cheque for £5,000. Total prize money amounts to £17,500 with prizes for the last 32.
Sponsored by Red Dragon Darts and Conspinner, the local venues for the competition are Bell Hotel on July 1, and at Lamb Inn and Cardigan RFC, the latter two dates to be confirmed.
Entry is free and can be made by contacting any of the establishments.
