THE well known coloured stallion Brynleyview Comanche was awarded Supreme of Show at the South and West Wales Shetland Pony Group Show held in Carmarthen at the weekend.

Owned by Lara Joslin and Anna Stevens, the stallion who was Best of Breed at Olympia in 2014, is by Womble of Crafton and was bred locally by the Jackson Family of Tanygroes near Cardigan.

"Well Cheeman (aka Brynleyview Comanche) was his amazing self today," said Lara. "A huge thank you to Sharron for coming with me and doing an amazing job showing Toby (Chee's two-year-old son) who also won his class.

"We are also super proud of Katie who was a little exuberant and her trot was a bit explosive."

Reserve Supreme was awarded to Hasguard Legacy owned by Paula Davies and shown by Sarah Whitfield and daughter Emily.

In the ridden section, seven year old Caleb Davies of Bryngwyn riding Evie’s Pride won the first and open ridden classes.

Caleb was also awarded reserve champion in the ridden section to the lead rein Hasguard Legacy, again ridden by Emily.
