Cardigan ABC's Garan Croft was forced to abandon his usual freeflowing style for all-out aggression when he took on Tom Janes (Highfields ABC) is a wild, untidy scrap at Abercwmboi on Thursday night.
In the end the 13-year-old Crymych schoolboy was awarded a unanimous points decision after his greater strength and fitness prevailed, but Cardigan ABC head Guy Croft will be looking for a more polished performance against next opponent Ryan Marinos in Cardiff this weekend.
