High-flying Costcutter League clubs Cardigan Town and Newcastle Emlyn are on course to meet in the final of Cwpan Coffa Dai Dynamo Davies following the quarter-final draw.
If the Cardigan Magpies overcome lowly Cambrian Tyres League Division One outfit Aberystwyth University Reserves in a second round tie at Vicarage Fields on January 10 Ben Davies and team-mates will have home advantage against Dolgellau in the quarter final on January 24 when a win would set up a semi-final tie against the winners of the last eight clash between Penparcau and Talybont.
Emlyn host old adversaries Lampeter Town in a quarter final tie at Parc Emlyn and if the Reds come through that test they will meet Padarn United or Aberaeron Reserves in the semi-final.
With various cup ties on the horizon Cardigan will not be in league action until mid-February when fixtures will come thick and fast until the end of the season.
