Cardigan of League 2 West reached the second round of the Pembrokeshire KO Cup with a comfortable 50-12 win over visitors Pembroke of League 3 West who very nearly forfeited the tie through the unavailability of players but eventually managed to find sufficient personnel
Left-winger Dorian Butler led the home try scoring with four and it was 33-0 after the opening 40 minutes.
The other tries coming from Aled Meredith, Marcus Castle, Aaron Tomkinson, Alun Jenkins and Llyr Tobias converting on five occasions. Scorers for Pembroke were Lucka Trimarco and Rees Johns and a conversion by
Sion Dalling.
