Sunday, September 28 will see the 15th Pembrokeshire Half Marathon in Dale, alongside a 10k which has been running for nearly as long.

The event is organised by Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club and the main sponsor once again is South Hook LNG, with TriExercise of Haverfordwest providing prizes and Station Hire, also of Haverfordwest, helping out with a van for the weekend.

Both courses take in St Ann’s Head lighthouse, with the Half Marathon heading out to Marloes, before finishing on the seafront in Dale. Entries are limited to 300 and the final chance to enter is September 20. On-line entry only can be found via the Pembrokeshire Triathlon Club web-site, www.pembrokeshire-tri.org.uk.

As well as being supported by local runners this classic event regularly attracts runners from across the UK. This year two local charities are being supported, Paul Sartori and Greenacres Animal Rescue.

There will be a limited and temporary road closure in Dale to facilitate the event and the organisers would like to thank the communities of Dale and Marloes for their support.
