Cardigan Golf Club Captain Keith Lewis held his Captain's Day on Saturday 9 August. The weather held and a fine entry of 84 turned out to enjoy some generous hospitality and the excellent prizes on offer. The winner of this stroke play medal was Rob Clark with an excellent score of 68 nett, playing off a handicap of 3. In second place on count back was Derek Quinnell with 68 nett, playing off 13, Dai Parry Morgan came third with 70 nett playing off 17, and Chris Barrass came fourth on count back with a nett 71 playing off 5. The winner of the longest drive was Henry Malloy. The winners of the nearest the pin were Rob Clark (6th) and Peter Ward (16th). The Past Captain's Prize was won by Tom Davies with a nett 72 playing off 6, and the Best Gross prize was won by Rob Clark with 71
