The Russell family of New Quay also brought home a fistful of rosettes, with their homebred Ceinewyddfach Seren Aur winning the Yearling Palomino Class. Following the successful start to the morning, the Section D mare, Ceinewyddfach Dewines pulled out all the stops and was awarded a second prize in the Ridden D Section and Reserve Champion. They then went on to win the Large Breed M and M and took the Championship, ridden by Louise Russell.

Louise commented: ' We had great fun riding in the supreme! I love this mare, she was an absolute diamond all day and did everything I asked of her.'
