Engines are at the ready for the Annual Llandysul Motor Club Classic Tracks car rally to be held this Sunday from 10am. With a full entry of 75 cars and at least nine reserves, 2013 winners – Wyn Owens and Jenny Evans are hoping to retain their title.
Starting at the much admired Parcau Farm in Penrhiwllan, the venue for the special tests of one to 10 are to be held. The spectacular amphitheatre welcomes spectators to have an incredible view of the competition. There is a safe lawned picnic area with spectator viewing and a bouncy castle and several children’s activities to keep everyone happy.
Host Jamie Jukes of Spencer ECA Association Ltd is looking forward to the rally and hopes spectators will also enjoy.
He said: ' Let's hope the weather is dry. Bring the family to spectate and as usual the village carnival committee is again organising value for money catering. Bring a blanket, have a picnic and support the rally in a great atmosphere.'
Once the Clubs costs are covered, all proceeds from the event will be distributed to local charities as last year.
Spectators are welcome and will be charged a small entrance fee of £3 for adults and £1 for children and OAPs.
