Pembrokeshire Youth champions Crymych added the cup to their league title with a 13-7 win over Pembroke at Whitland on Friday.
The Preseli lads went into the game as favourites but were made to pull out all the stops by spirited opponents who could hold their heads high.
Crymych led 6-0 after the opening 40 minutes, their points coming from two penalties landed by outside half Sion Thomas.
Although the underdogs got a converted try during the second period Crymych clinched the final with a try by hooker Ifan Phillips. The front-rower and son of coach Kevin Phillips the former Wales hooker got the all-important score from a driving maul and fly-half Thomas added the extras.
The win completed a great season for the Parc Lloyd Thomas youngsters who also reached the semi-final of the Welsh Youth National Cup.
