Crymych pipped at Kidwelly

PROMOTED Crymych must still be wondering how they managed to lose 24-18 at Kidwelly after appearing to be sauntering to victory in Division One West.
The defeat against third in the table Kidwelly left the Preselimen hovering above the relegation zone and a win against Builth Wells this Saturday is a must if the north Pembrokeshire villagers are to stay clear of danger.
As the visitors ruled the roost during the first half left-winger Nick Bevan and centre Carwyn Phillips ran in for tries, one of the scores converted by Adam Phillips who along with Dyfan Dafydd landed a penalty.
As the Carmarthenshire villagers turned things around during the second period lock Richard Pearce and centre Andy Francis were try scorers with outside half Stuart Morris landing a conversion and four penalties.
The Division Three West game between Tumble and Cardigan was postponed due to the waterlogged state of the Parc y Mynydd Mawr pitch.
