Emlyn go down to Wanderers

12:57pm Monday 12th November 2007

Newcastle Emlyn appeared to be still suffering from the previous Saturday's defeat at Cardigan as the Red and Whites went down 17-7 against lowly Llanelli Wanderers on their own Ddol Wyber stamping ground.

It really was a bad day at the office for the Teifisiders as their play was littered with poor option taking and tackling. They will undoubtedly want to get this performance out of their systems before they visit Pembroke Dock Quins a week on Saturday.

Dafydd Evans notched a try for Emlyn in the first half, the score converted by outside half Rhydian Harries.

Hooker Daniel Nicholson sprang two tries for the Wanderers and scrum half Mark Davies also went in, his touchdown converted by outside half Jeremy Phillips.
