WANT to spend six months cuddling a sloth? Folly Farm needs you.

They’re adorable, cuddly and they love to nap; just three reasons why the sloth is one of our all-time favourite animals.

For most of us the opportunity to get up close and personal with a sloth is just a dream, but for one lucky animal lover it could become a reality.

Pembrokeshire’s Folly Farm is on the lookout for a part-time student zoo keeper to spend six months working in its zoo team.

Working primarily in the Folly Interactive and bird sections of the zoo, you could spend your days looking after animals including fruit bats, snakes, tortoises, birds and, of course, Folly’s two-toed sloth, Tuppee!

That’s right, you could be paid to look after one of nature’s most peaceful animals.

Working as part of a team, you could be taking care of the animals, delivering public talks and educational activities and run animal feeding experiences for guests.

And, okay, while you wouldn’t spend all your time cuddling sloths, the feeding, cleaning and procedural stuff is definitely worth it to be working so closely with such an awesome animal.

There’s just one catch; Folly Farm doesn’t let just anyone look after its sloths.

You’ll need to be 18 years or older, an animal lover with a full driving licence, have great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll be able to commit to working two days a week, and a degree-level qualification in Zoology or a related subject would help, too.

So if you meet those criteria, and fancy cuddling sloths for a living, just send your CV and covering letter to: hr@folly-farm.co.uk
