A cliff fall dog had a lucky escape yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
The pooch went over the cliff at Giltar Point, Penally at around 5.30pm.
Tenby and St Govan's coastguard rescue teams and Tenby's RNLI inshore lifeboat were paged to go to the scene, where the dog was quickly located.
The pet was recovered back to its owners, and safety advice given.
Coastguards have repeated their warning message to dog owners to keep their pets on leads when walking on cliff paths.
A number of incidents have taken place this year, with several fatalities as a result.
