OVER 15 gardens in the villages of Manorbier and Jameston will be open to the public this Saturday (June 16), 1pm-6pm.

They include a Japanese-inspired garden, a bio-diversity pond and meadow, a ‘foragers’ medieval strip and the Old Vicarage garden with its shepherd’s hut.

Also to be seen is the beautiful walled garden and potager at Norchard, which is opening in association with the National Garden Scheme for an additional £2.

Entrance to the open gardens event is by programme from any participating garden at £5 per person, with children free.

The village mini-bus will travel a circular route, picking up those who may need a lift to get to outlying gardens, or to reach St James’ Church, Manorbier where cream teas will be served.
