Swearing at police during a late night dog walk has cost a Pembroke Dock man £155.
Martin Brian Sture, of Wavell Crescent, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday, May 15.
The court heard that police were dealing with an unrelated incident in Wavell Crescent just after 1am on April 22, when Sture, 43, appeared.
Sian Vaughan, prosecuting, said: “Mr Sture was wandering around and trying to enter the premises where the officers were.”
Sture was arrested after he shouted, became argumentative and swore at officers who told him to leave.
Mr Sture said: “I was walking the dog, the dog went to have pee. Police officers told me to move on, they came towards me, five of them, I was intimidated and started swearing.”
Magistrates ordered him to pay a £40 fine, £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
