There was right royal excitement in a Tenby school this (Friday) morning as guests took their seats for a mock wedding.
St Teilo’s Catholic Primary School hall was the venue for the occasion, which saw pupils and staff dressed in red, white and blue as they awaited the arrival of the bride – five-year-old Evelyn Knight in the role of Meghan Markle.
Unlike tomorrow’s royal bride, she was fortunate enough to be given away by her ‘father’, Euan Monan.
Prince Harry was played by Dylan Morgan, also five, with William Skidmore as master of ceremonies.
Madox Chan was the best man, while bridesmaids were Molly Thomas and Ellie Gower.
The Queen was played by Eleanor Macleod and Oliver Cross was the Duke of Edinburgh.
A flurry of bio-degradable confetti greeted the newly-weds as they left the hall, before all the pupils enjoyed lunch in the sunshine.
