THE festive fund-raising lights at a Pembrokeshire couple's home shine out for the season's final time today (Friday).

Sheila and Vic Norman have raised the grand total of £1,665.30 for the Paul Sartori Foundation from their Christmas spectacular.

And over the years, their display has helped the Pembrokeshire hospice-at-home charity to the tune of over £7,500.

The Normans will switch their lights on at 13 Kingsmoor Close, Kilgetty SA68 0QZ by request tonight (Friday) only for anyone still in the festive mood who would like to view the display and contribute to the charity.

Yesterday (Thursday), they presented their cheque for £1,665.30 to Paul Sartori's charity manager, Sandra Dade, who thanked the couple for their fundraising and everyone who had contributed.

She said: "It isn't just about the lights - the Normans' heart-warming kindness and hospitality help the Christmas season start off with a tremendous glow, inside and out.

"This year, during the Christmas week, the hospice at home free-of-charge services delivered 312 hours of care to 26 people with life-limiting illnesses, directly into their own homes, enabling patients to be at home with those they hold most dear, during a very difficult time.

"We are able to meet the increasing demand for our services simply because of Pembrokeshire community members such as Vic and Sheila, and everyone who visited their home."
