THERE was a chance for a sneak peek at the new Ysgol Bro Gwaun today (Wednesday) after the school's prize giving assembly.
Former pupil and teacher Rev Richard Davies gave pupils a fascinating insight into the 120 year history of the school.
Miss Alana Finn spoke about the time capsule the school has put together, containing school memorabilia, local news a video and message from the current headmaster and packaging from popular food, to be opened in 30 years' time.
After the assembly, where the annual merit shields were given out, the ribbon at the entrance to the new school was cut.
Select pupils, governors and guests were given a guided tour of the new school. The move into the new building is scheduled to take place within the next few weeks.
