One person was hospitalised after they were rescued from a flat fire in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Crews from Pembroke Dock and Tenby Fire Stations were called to the Queens Street blaze, which had been caused by a washing machine left on overnight.
One person was rescued before the crews’ arrival, and had to be taken to hospital.
Extensive fire damage was caused to the kitchen and three adjoining properties were smoke logged.
A fires service spokesman said: “The occupier had no working smoke alarms. Very lucky to get out of the property.
“Please take the opportunity to have smoke alarms fitted.”
