IT is set to be the biggest game of club football ever held at the Principality Stadium - and the prize at the end of it will arrive in Cardiff today.

The Champions League final will take place in the Welsh capital on Saturday, June 3, and this afternoon, the famous trophy will be publicly paraded before it's taken on a tour of the country.

As reward for being crowned FAW Welsh Community Coach of the Year in 2016, Matthew 'Minty' Lamb and a number of Fishguard Sports AFC coaches and junior members have been invited to the Principality to play a part in the proceedings.

After its official welcome to Cardiff, the FAW will take the trophy to 20 venues across Wales, stopping at a selection of schools, clubs and popular public locations.

The first stop will be in Swansea - and it will then come back to Cardiff and be displayed in Cardiff Bay for the four days of the UEFA Champions Festival from June 1-4.

But most significantly for Pembrokeshire football fans, it will be in Haverfordwest town centre from 10am-4pm on Thursday, May 4.

The trophy will then take its place in Tenby on Sunday, May 7, from 10am-2pm.
