A man was hospitalised after suffering an electric shock in Fishguard yesterday (Tuesday).
Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the incident, which occurred at Vergam Terrace at approximately 10.45am.
Many buildings in the area suffered a temporary power cut at around the same time. The leisure centre, Ysgol Glannau Gwaun and Holy Name School all lost power for a period of time. However all establishments remained open.
Police and paramedics attended the incident. The man was conveyed to hospital by ambulance and was later discharged.
Western Power workers were at the scene for most of the morning.
A police spokesman said the health and safety executive have been informed.
