Pcs shouldn't pick up dog mess

Having just received my council tax bill and noting the amount I pay for police coverage, I found it a travesty that a police constable on £34k a year can be used for a "couple of hours" clearing up dog mess in Aberporth.

Is this what we want our police to do or is it that they have so much time on their hands?!

We are always being told that the police are so busy with paperwork that they have little time left to patrol our increasing violent streets.

My son is a police officer based in Bath and when I showed him the article he was shocked that a policeman had the time to waste on what should be a council appointed job - so come on Cardigan police do the job you are well paid to do.
