Disappointed at dog fouling

As a visitor arriving in early March to spend another summer season in this lovely area, I am again disappointed by the extensive dog fouling evident in the dunes at Poppit Sands.
I have been forced to the conclusion that local residents are the worst offenders as the majority of holidaymakers have yet to arrive.
I think it's high time locals set a good example and appreciated the wonderful natural beauty they have on their doorstep.
There are very few beaches where we are allowed to exercise our dogs and it would indeed be sad if we tha majority lost this privilege because of the irresponsible behaviour of the few.
