Dear Editor

I am pleased to see that the Bath-house relief road has at last been made a clearway but the main problem is still there! Motorists are still being allowed to park below the new signs and cause continued congestion at the junction with the lower Mwldan connection, making it difficult and dangerous to exit due to the reduced width and clarity of the junction.

When questioned, the parking warden stated that it was a Police matter, not theirs ! Rule 243 of the official Highway Code states categorically there is to be no parking "opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space".

Do we really need to have a serious accident here before the law is invoked?
