Wales Air Ambulance 1940's Themed Charity Night
I would like to say thank you on behalf of Wales Air Ambulance to firstly Hedydd, Steve and staff of Jamieson's Steakhouse, Aberporth for their generosity in providing such a delicious meal, without you the event to the quality you provided would not have been possible. Mrs Mary Bott MBE for her fascinating and humerous talk about her days in the Land Army, the band and dancers who provided the end to a great evening.
Secondly my thanks go the the Sponsers, Robins Taxis, Body Matters, Vicini, Mr Ian Gollop, Pantgwyn Quarry, Mantel Brewery, P Sharman, J Bonnell. Also Mr T. I Davies and Ladies Circle for their Donation.
The Auction was conducted by Graham Evans (Deputy Mayor) with great aplomb, and the items were donated by Penrallt Garden Centre, Bay to remember, Fly Heli Wales,Golden Lion Newport, 25 Mile Cardigan, Llwynhelyg Farm Shop, Caws Cenarth, Cig Blaenwaun, Peter Hughes Fishguard, Pat and Lil Cardigan Golf Club, Brondsbury Garden Centre, Sally James and B & Q. To all those who donated the fabulous items and the excellent Raffle Prizes, thank you. Thanks also to Rachel and Nick and the Committee Cardigan Rugby Club for all their help
The evening raised a fantastic £4000. My grateful thanks to all of you who bought tickets, and supported such an essential and dedicated service to the community. Not forgeting the people who help throughout the year.
