Dear Editor,

My wife and I decided to go down to Aberaeron to spend some money and meet up with some dear friends who also spent some money in the town. Parked my car in the parking ground After 2 hours we returned to the car to find a £70 parking ticket placed on my windscreen. Yes I had forgotten and I have no one to blame but myself to place my badge on the windscreen and I will have to pay the fine, if the traffic enforcement officer had looked he or she would have seen it near the gear stick. (yes it should have been on the dashboard) Also if they looked at the tax disc that would have told them that it was a disabled vehicle. It looks to me that Ceredigion Council want to try and get as much income from the local people who support the local shops by robbing people just for a simple mistake. Shopkeepers in Ceredigion, thank you for your kind welcome and excellent service but we are sorry there are four customers that you will not see again due to the way that Ceredigion Enforcement Officers have treated us.
