Back the park campaign!
People in Carmarthenshire are being urged to back Newcastle Emlyn Park as they aim to win a grant worth £10,000.
The Goodyear Tyres "tyred playground" competition will award the prize to the park that receives the greatest number of votes. Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM and Adam Price MP, who have already cast their votes in support, are calling for local people to get on the internet and get behind the bid.
Rhodri Glyn Thomas said:
"This is a fantastic opportunity to get some much needed financial backing for the area. A potential £10,000 investment will make a major difference to the park and so I hope that everyone takes the time to show their support by voting for the park."
Adam Price added:
"This would be a huge boost to the local community. The park is potentially a fantastic facility and a cash injection of this size will really help to make it a great facility for everyone to enjoy."
