Defendant on holiday
A case in which a Cardigan woman is accused of using a vehicle without insurance was adjourned for seven days by magistrates in the town after her solicitor said the defendant was spending a pre-arranged holiday at Butlin's.
Catrin Enfys Thomas aged 31, of 4 Golwg y Castell, who was represented by Colin Taylor, had previously denied the offence allegedly committed while driving a Peugeot in January this year.
Requesting an adjournment Mr. Taylor said: "There is a question mark over whether there was or there wasn't insurance."
The matter was adjourned until this Thursday.
