A part-time Cardigan security guard who took his common law wife's car without her consent is to put forward an exceptional hardship argument why he should not be disqualified from driving under the points totting up procedure.
Stephen Anthony Bolton, aged 33, of 25 Felinban, Cardigan, who was represented by Ann Griffiths, admitted taking the blue Ford Escort in March this year and using the vehicle without insurance.
The case was adjourned until May 15 and the defendant given unconditional bail.
